The opportunity:
As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our IT Operations team, supporting the global managed network deployment under the guidance of our Infrastructure Engineer Lead. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills in infrastructure and networking while taking on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining system uptime, optimizing deployment processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring system performance. You'll also contribute to cost optimization strategies, assist with network infrastructure tasks (such as voice platforms, phone hardware, security cameras, and access control systems), and support various technical projects.
Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with internal IT teams to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and improve processes. As business needs evolve, you'll have the chance to adapt and grow, keeping up with emerging network technologies.

Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Outcome and Delivery Focus: Assist in meeting deadlines and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Proactive Participation in IT Improvements: Support planning, testing, and deploying enhancements.
- Network Infrastructure Support: Assist in implementing network solutions.
- IP Telephony Infrastructure Support: Collaborate on IP telephony platforms.
- Camera and Access Control Systems Support: Ensure connectivity and functionality.
- Service Management and Incident Response: Help handle network and telephony issues.
- Operation Runbook Creation: Document common tasks for IT teams.
- Engineering Automation and Productivity Tools: Assist in streamlining production management.
- Systems Logging and Benchmarking: Support improving system performance insights.
- Controlled Environment Changes: Ensure stability and security.
- Daily Network Monitoring: Verify network integrity and availability.
- Patch Management and Upgrades: Assist in regularly updating and configuring services.
To be successful in this role you have:
Essential
- Experience in IT/Infrastructure Support
- CCTV & Access Control: Skilled in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and access control systems.
- Cisco Meraki Expertise: Experienced in deploying and managing Meraki access points, switches, and security appliances.
- Telephony Systems: Knowledgeable in VoIP systems like Avaya, 3CX, Amazon Connect, and Teams phone, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Network Security: Proficient in firewalls, VPNs, and access control for secure communication.
- Technical Documentation: Capable of creating clear, detailed documentation for network setups and troubleshooting.
Desirable
- CCNA or equivalent is desirable
- Experience with network-connected camera systems, such as Hikvision or Merak
- Experience in a high-availability production environment
- Experience in network monitoring tools such as PRTG, Prometheus, Grafana
