State Personal Training Manager – Tasmania

The opportunity:
Are you ready to take the reins of a high-impact leadership role in the fitness industry? We're on the lookout for a dynamic State Personal Training Manager to champion the performance, growth, and success of our Personal Training department across our Tasmanian portfolio.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all aspects of PT operations - from driving business performance and ensuring industry compliance, to enhancing the member experience and supporting a thriving community of independent contractors. You'll play a hands-on role in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of rental trainers, ensuring each one is set up for success.

This is a part-time role, requiring a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.
Key duties and responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Achievement of all budgeted rental/independent contract trainer ratios in the Region;
- Achieve budgeted department revenues including but not limited to trainer rental trainer revenues and associated revenues from the personal training department
- Management of debit suspensions and overdue rental/license fees in line with contract obligations and company expectations (when required)
- Drive the recruitment of Independent Rental Contractors (Personal Trainers);
- Facilitate trainer growth through pro-active recruitment practices and the development of strong relationships with RTO's;
- Build relationships with students and aspiring trainers to ensure the business has a ‘talent pool' of PTs to access from for future vacancies;
- Ensure the Region has a steady group of trainers at any given time and ensure no club is left without a Trainer for an extended period;
- Ensure 100% compliance of all trainer qualifications, insurance and related documentation via efficient management of Zap document management and auditing systems;
- Manage all related Training and Development for contract trainers, ensuring long-term success of every trainer.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registered and insured with Fitness Australia
- Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- A minimum of 3 years industry related experience working/managing health and fitness related programs
- Experience in the management of teams
- Experience in the development and training of team members
